Slovenia Loses Landmark LB Court Case in Strasbourg

Strasbourg, 16 July - Slovenia has lost a landmark ruling in the case of Yugoslav-era foreign currency deposits at the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, which ruled that Slovenia will have to find a solution for compensating deposit-holders with unpaid deposits at the defunct LB bank in Sarajevo within a year. The verdict by the Grand Chamber is final.
