Original Photographs on Glass by Puhar on Display for First Time

Ljubljana, 26 August - An exhibition of original works by photography pioneer Janez Puhar (1814-1864) will open on Tuesday at the National Museum, marking 200 years since his birth. The priest, who worked in rural towns across the Dutchy of Carniola, managed to fixate photography on glass before the French pioneers, but his work was recognised much later.
