MPs Reject Intelligence Oversight Body Due to Janša Nomination

Ljubljana, 28 August - The National Assembly decided against establishing a commission for the oversight of intelligence services in a 27-53 vote on Thursday. Most MPs object to Democrats (SDS) leader Janez Janša, who is serving a 2-year prison sentence for corruption, being a member of the commission, a demand made by the SDS.
