Cerar Leaves Commissioner Pick to Juncker's Discretion
Ljubljana, 29 August - Prime Minister-elect Miro Cerar talked with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker over the phone again on Friday, repeating his preferences for the pick of a commissioner from Slovenia, but at the same time leaving the choice to Juncker's discretion as he was "given assurances the Slovenian commissioner would get a key portfolio".
