Slovenian Boat Shelters Over 200 Refugees Near Malta

Catania, 2 September - A Slovenian cargo ship rescued over 200 refugees in an impromptu rescue mission in the Mediterranean sea on Monday afternoon. The Splošna plovba-owned ship, which responded to an emergency call by the Maltese rescue centre, is currently sailing towards the Italian port of Catania.
