Ceremony Remembers First Victims of Fascism in Europe

Trieste, 7 September - A ceremony will commemorate three Slovenian and a Croatian anti-Fascist killed by Italian soldiers 84 years ago near the village of Basovizza just above the city of Trieste, Italy, in 1930. The traditional event will be attended by outgoing Slovenian Defence Minister Roman Jakič, who will also address the ceremony.
