UKC Hospital Generates EUR 8.9M Deficit in First Half

Ljubljana, 10 September - The Ljubljana UKC hospital generated a financial gap of EUR 8.9m in the first six months of 2014. It treated 4,620 more patients that the health purse covered. The hospital's business committee, which reviewed the financial report yesterday, says that the financing scheme of Slovenia's biggest hospital has been unsustainable for years.
