Flooding Hits East, South Slovenia

Ljubljana/Vransko/Šmarje pri Jelšah/Kostanjevica na Krki, 13 September - Swelling rivers and streams caused severe flooding in south-central and eastern Slovenia Saturday, after a night that saw torrential rains dump up to 80 millimetres of water. At least one person has died when a van slid into a stream, and one more person from the same van is missing.
