Linguist Kopitar to Be Remembered in His Native Village

Vodice, 14 September - The 170th anniversary of death of Jernej Kopitar (1780-1844) will be marked on Saturday at an event in front of his home in the village of Repnje near Vodice (NE). The 16th Kopitar Days will also feature a memorial exhibition of original items and facsimiles owned by one of the greatest Slovenian linguists.
