Police Say Slovenians Recruited for Military Campaigns Abroad

Ljubljana, 25 September - Recruitment of Slovenian citizens and their participation in military operations abroad had already been detected last year, a police official said on Thursday, confirming media reports that unlicensed weapons had been seized in two house searches targeting an individual suspected of having fought for the Islamic State (ISIS) in Syria.
