General Government Deficit Drops to 5.5% of GDP in H1

Ljubljana, 30 September - Slovenia's general government deficit in the first half of the year has been estimated at EUR 996m or 5.5% of GDP, which is considerably less than in the same period in 2013, mostly owing to recapitalisation of banks, the Statistics Office said on Tuesday.
