New Deputy Speaker Elected, Replacement MPs Confirmed

Ljubljana, 30 September - The National Assembly elected in a secret ballot on Tuesday MP Andreja Katič of the Social Democrats (SD) a new deputy speaker. She is filling the post vacated by Janko Veber, who was appointed defence minister. Four replacement MPs who are filling the seats of new cabinet members were also confirmed.
