Govt Agrees on Cuts to Balance 2015 Budget

Ljubljana, 22 October - The government unanimously adopted a proposal on Wednesday for saving measures needed to patch up an excessive budget hole for 2015. PM Miro Cerar said that a lot needed to be given up to meet the demanding deficit criteria and called on social partners to cooperate "for the sake of a better tomorrow". Expenditure for welfare will not be cut.
