President Milan Kučan Prior to Pope's Visit to Slovenia

Ljubljana, 15 May - KUČAN/STATEMENT/POPE
Slovenia will meet the Pope with full honors appropriate to the supreme representative of the State of Vatican and the Head of the Roman Catholic Church. I firmly believe the great majority of Slovenes agree with me that the Pope will be met with hospitality, friendliness, satisfaction and happiness. The same will be my welcome I shall bid to him on his arrival on the Slovene soil, President Milan Kučan told the Slovene press agency STA prior to Pope John Paul II's visit in Slovenia.
