Unemployment Somewhat down in March

There were 585,961 employed in companies and other organizations in Slovenia in March, which means a 10 percent increase over February 1996. According to the National Office of Statistics, in March 437,367 people were employed in economic activities and 148,131 people in non-economic activities. There were 120,780 registered unemployed in Slovenia in that month, the rate of unemployment being 13.9 percent or 0.3 percentage point lower than in February.
