Pope John Paul II met early Saturday afternoon in the College of St. Stanislas in Šentvid near Ljubljana Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek. Prime Minister Drnovšek told press after the meeting he had briefed the Pope with the situation in Slovenia five years after the declaration of independence, while the Holy Father expressed his support to and admiration of Slovenia.
