The Alps Conference Standing Committee Holds a Session
Ljubljana, 21 May - ALPS/CONFERENCE/SESSION/STANDING/COMMITTEE
The Slovene Alps Conference Standing Committee started Tuesday its three-day session, its first after the 4th Alps Conference session of environment ministers in February 1996 at Brdo pri Kranju. Opening the session, Minister of Environment and Physical Planning Pavel Gantar said the session's basic goal was to promote cooperation between countries in the Alps region, primarily in the light of implementing the Alps convention-related protocols.
