About Celebrations Ahead of 5th Anniversary of Slovene Independence

Ljubljana, 22 May - SLOVENIA/INDEPENDENCE/ANNIVERSARY
At the invitation of Slovene President Milan Kučan, the honourary national organizing committee for the 5th anniversary of Slovenia's independence (25 June) met on Wednesday. The meeting was attended by representatives leading figures from state and political life, who were invited to consider the way in which Slovenia as state should commemorate the decisive steps taken five years ago this year.
