WWII in Prekmurje: Hungarian Attempt to Reclaim the Region

Murska Sobota, 4 May - World War II saw Slovenian territory divided among three occupying forces. While the west and south were under Italy, and the north of the country was occupied by Nazi Germany, the eastern-most part was under Hungarian occupation for the most part of the war.
