Survey: Companies Reduced Hiring Due to Minimum Wage Hike
Ljubljana, 25 March - A survey by the central bank has found that stability in economic and legal terms and the ability to adjust to changed economic conditions would promote employment on a more permanent basis. The increase in the minimum wage in 2010 has meanwhile caused firms to hire fewer workers and led to dismissals in about a fifth of them.
