Quarter Century Since Key Election

Ljubljana, 8 April - Slovenia remembers on Wednesday 25 years since the first democratic multi-party elections after World War II. The Democratic Opposition of Slovenia (DEMOS) celebrated victory, paving the way for Slovenia's independence from Yugoslavia a year later.
