V-Day Celebrated Amidst Calls for Unity

Ljubljana, 8 May - The state celebration on the eve of Victory Day on Friday honoured the people who helped liberate Slovenia from the occupying forces, but it was held against a backdrop of lingering disputes over the Communist revolution that followed and events that continue to divide the nation.
