Works by Prešeren Laureate Sculptor Batič on Show
Ljubljana, 12 May - The Galerija Jakopič gallery in central Ljubljana launched a retrospective of the works of legendary sculptor Stojan Batič, a winner of the Prešeren Prize for artistic achievement, to mark his 90th birthday on Tuesday.

The Memorial to Peace and Freedom was created by Stojan Batič to remember one of the final battles of WWII on Slovenian territory.
