Number of Prisoners Up by 5.7% Last Year
Ljubljana, 19 May - An average daily number of people in prison or judicial detention in Slovenia last year stood at 1,511, which is 5.7% more than in 2013. The number of employees in the Slovenian prison system was meanwhile down by more than 1% to 832, Prison Administration head Jože Podržaj told the press on Tuesday.
