Minister Rop in Geneva

Ljubljana, 13 June - GENEVA/ROP/ILO
Slovene Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Anton Rop held Thursday an official meeting with Heribert Scharrenbroich, director of the Regional Office of the International Labour Foundation (ILO) for Europe, who offered Slovenia technical support and cooperation in conducting the pensions system reform, employment and social policy and joining the European Union. Minister Rop also attended the meeting of CEFTA ministers of labour and social affairs, where a decision was taken that a multilateral agreement on cooperation between CEFTA labour ministers be adopted as soon as possible. In the afternoon he delivered a speech at the meeting on Slovenia's active employment policy.
