Kacin: Slovenia would be vary happy, if IFOR could close its mandate in December
Brussels, 14 June - Slovene Defence Minister Jelko Kacin said Friday at the meeting of NATO and partner state defence ministers that "Slovenia would be very happy if IFOR could close its mandate by December 1996". "However, this is not the case: estimates exist that the presence of IFOR in Bosnia-Herzegovina will also be needed after that date," said Kacin at the morning session on cooperation of partner states in the NATO-commanded peace operation in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
