Coastal Expressway Tunnel Opening Decades After It was Conceived

Koper, 5 June - A key part of a new coastal expressway between Koper and Izola, the Markovec tunnel is being inaugurated on Friday to end one of the country's longest infrastructural sagas and alleviate congestion on one of the busiest sections of Slovenia's short coastline.
