Fiscal Rule Implementation Bill Continues Path Through Parliament

Ljubljana, 23 June - A bill on the implementation of the fiscal rule on balanced budget passed a second debate at the parliamentary Finance and Monetary Policy Committee on Tuesday, although it is expected to undergo additional coordination ahead of the plenary debate next month. PM Miro Cerar stressed the fiscal rule is crucial for consolidation of public finances.
