Acclaimed Poet Says Austria's Lipizzan Horse Bid Egotistical
Ljubljana, 1 July - Acclaimed Slovenian poet Boris A. Novak labelled Austria's unilateral bid to put the Spanish Riding School in Vienna on the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage as an "unfair, egotistical and non-European initiative". He also took a shot at Slovenian authorities for failing to protect the Slovenian stud farm Kobilarna Lipica.
