Drnovšek: Slovenia is a sovereign, stable and peaceful country

"Today, Slovenia is a sovereign, stable and peaceful country, determined to remain so and help construct a democratic and solid Europe," Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek told a news conference Monday. He added that in five years of independence Slovenia managed to establish itself as a new sovereign country, joining several international organizations and proving it was capable to survive economically even in highly demanding international circumstances.
