Klagenfurt, 28 June - SLOVENIA/CARINTHIA/DRNOVŠEK
Slovene Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek arrived Friday afternoon to a shorter working visit to the Austrian province of Carinthia, meeting behind closed doors with leading representatives of Carinthian Slovenes and later with Carinthian Governor General Christof Zernatto. After a news conference by both officials, Drnovšek attended opening of the renovated premises of the Slovene consulate general in downtown Klagenfurt. The opening speech was given by consul general Jože Jeraj.
