Jovanotti Announces Spectacular Concert in Ljubljana
Ljubljana, 2 September - Italian pop star Lorenzo Cherubini, better known as Jovanotti, is returning to Ljubljana's concert scene after his only performance in Slovenia almost 20 years ago. Ljubljana's Stožice Arena is in for a spectacular and unforgettable show, the singer-songwriter told the press upon announcing the January concert on Wednesday.
Jovanotti, mostly known for his 1990s hits like "Serenata Rap", "Penso Positivo" and "Piove", is coming to Ljubljana after his latest record "Lorenzo 2015 CC." went platinum in Slovenia, meaning it sold over 10,000 copies.
The record features as many as thirty new tracks. Commenting on an unusually long playlist, the 48-year-old said that he always likes to give a bit more in the world, which already has a lot.
The Italian star is looking forward to performing in the 12,000-seat Stožice, where he will be able to set up a "huge concert production".
Jova, as called by his fans, is not worried about performing to an unknown audience, because he always gets good feedback, he also told the press.
