President Kučan on Current Issues for TV Slovenia

Ljubljana, 2 July - KUČAN/INTERVIEW/TV SLOVENIA
Asked by TV Slovenia about his plans to run for office in 1997, Slovene President Milan Kučan said he would do so in case the extreme right-wing parties win the legislative elections in 1996 and the democratic development of the country is threatened. For now there exists no such threat, President Kučan estimated in the TV Slovenia's "TV Conference" late Monday evening.
