President Pardons Repentant Businessman in Istrabenz Case

Ljubljana, 18 September - President Borut Pahor has pardoned businessman Bahtijar Bajrović, who pleaded guilty at the start of the Istrabenz trial to receive an eight-month suspended sentence. The president's office said that Bajrović had asked to be pardoned himself.
