Calls for Peace as International Day is Marked at Cerje

Miren, 19 September - A ceremony marking International Day of Peace was held on Saturday at Cerje, the site of a magnificent memorial to the defenders of Slovenian lands. National Council President Mitja Bervar said in his keynote address that peace is not a given, which Slovenians are well aware of after three wars in the last 100 years.
