Gorizia, 24 September - Slovenia's best skier of all time Tina Maze, who is on a self-imposed sabbatical from pro competitions, will present her team to the public as part of the Gusti di Frontiera culinary event in Italy's Gorizia, the home town of her partner and team leader Andrea Massi.

"Team to aMaze" will have its stand at the traditional event presenting the cuisine from the region shared between Italy and Slovenia, which will take place between Tuesday and Sunday.
Visitors will have the opportunity to try meals that the team of the most successful Slovenian Alpine skier prepared for Maze during trainings and competitions.
"I would like the people to jump into the skin of an Olympic champion and enjoy a steak like I would after an exhausting practice," Maze told the sport website Sportal, adding that everybody was invited.
The skier noted that she had more time now to socialize. "Me and my team used to be very reserved and inaccessible. We were forced to be like this because of our way of work," she added.
The two-time Olympic champion and four-time world champion is still convinced that taking a one-year break was a good decision, while admitting that she was having a hard time watching other skiers train.
"Stopping with the usual activities at full throttle is a big shock for the body, for the organism, for relationships. This summer was far from being easy for me. I'd lie if I told you that I enjoyed it immensely."
The winner of 26 World Cup races and 81 podiums in the World Cup has not revealed yet whether she will return to competitions after the 2015/16 season.
