General Government Deficit Down to 3.8% of GDP in First Half

Ljubljana, 30 September - The general government deficit reached EUR 723m or 3.8% of GDP in the first six months of the year, which is down from EUR 807m or 4.4% of GDP in the same period last year, the Statistics Office said on Wednesday. The general government debt at the end of June meanwhile stood at EUR 30.59bn or 80.8% of GDP.
