Economic Summit of CEE Countries in Salzburg
Ljubljana/Salzburg, 7 July - WORLD/ECONOMIC/FORUM/SALZBURG
Economic summit for central and eastern European (CEE) countries is to start Sunday in Salzburg, Austria, where economic problems of these countries in opening their markets are to be discussed along with a safety-security position in the area. The plenary session is attended by 13 Presidents and Prime Minsters, including Slovene President Milan Kučan, and over 500 other participants. Monday, Slovene Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Relations and Development Janko Deželak is also scheduled to participate in the Forum, presenting Slovenia and its economy, potentials for economic development and investments.
