First EU President Receives Slovenian State Decoration

Ljubljana, 7 October - President Borut Pahor on Wednesday decorated Herman Van Rompuy, the first president of the European Council, with the Slovenian Order for Exceptional Services for his contribution to the development of the EU and special concern for the equality of EU nations.
