Aid pledged as record number of refugees enter Slovenia

Ljubljana, 22 October - As Slovenia is buckling under an overwhelming stream of refugees, the country was promised help by the visiting European migration commissioner as well as several countries, including in the form of staff. Slovenia also activated the EU civil protection mechanism.
