Review of Slovenian Press
Ljubljana, 3 August - Today Slovenian dailies have devoted their front pages to the Geneva negotiations, the threat from the USA to offer unilateral military intervention in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and to renewed attacks on, and the partial flooding of, the pontoon bridge at Maslenica. The "dossiers's affair" (Delo) remains the centre of attention for home affairs. Some newspapers (Dnevnik, Primorske Novice) have written extensively on the work of the Slovenian parliament. Another issue concerns the problems affecting the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM) and consequences that may affect the Slovenian tolar following the Brussels decision.
