Slovenian NATO ambassador under fire for his statements

Ljubljana, 14 January - The opposition United Left (ZL) on Thursday criticised Slovenia's ambassador to NATO, saying Jelko Kacin overstepped his powers twice in statements relating to Slovenia's military spending and Turkey's downing of a Russian military plane last year. The party also reiterated its position that Slovenia should exit NATO.
