Govt nominates fiscal council members

Ljubljana, 11 February - The government has nominated three economy experts to the fiscal council, a new independent body tasked with monitoring fiscal policy. It proposes that parliament appoints Damjan Kozamernik, who used to work for the central bank, and economics professors Marjan Senjur and Davorin Kračun to the council.
