Benchmark index up despite meagre trading

Ljubljana, 23 March - The SBI TOP benchmark on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange added 0.42% to 717.46 points on in meagre trading on Wednesday that left several blue chips flat. Only insurance stocks posted significant gains, with Sava Re up 1.43% to EUR 14.20 and Zavarovalnica Triglav adding 2.32% to EUR 26.50. Turnover was at EUR 3.18m, but EUR 2.3m fell to bond deals.
