Prosecution of independence war veteran stirs controversy

Ljubljana, 6 April - Murder charges against a key figure of the independence war over the downing of a Yugoslav army helicopter in 1991 have been met with sharp criticism. The case will also be debated by parliament, as an opposition party claims the charges are designed to "denigrate the independence war".
