Fmr President Türk optimistic about his UN sec-gen bid

New York, 21 April - Former Slovenian president Danilo Türk has a good feeling about the presentation at the UN General Assembly of his bid to become secretary general of the United Nations (UN) in 2017-2021. The diplomatic phase will be followed by a political phase, with the UN Security Council having the main say, Türk has told Slovenian reporters.
