Ombudsman Warns Against Unreasonable Delays in Courts

Slovene Ombudsman Ivo Bizjak told a press conference Wednesday that even more people have turned to this institution in 1996 than a year before. Ombudsman received 1,479 files in the period from January to the first half of August, solving 766 of them by 16 August 1996. Simultaneously Ombudsman examined nearly 500 initiatives filed in 1995, solving most of them.
