Schulz rejects idea of memorial for victims of Communism

Brussels, 17 June - European Parliament President Martin Schulz has rejected the initiative of Slovenian MEP Milan Zver (EPP/SDS) for a memorial to the victims of Communism in Slovenia to be erected in the European Parliament. Schulz decided so due to opposition to the memorial from Slovenia, including from PM Miro Cerar, Zver said on Friday.
