General government deficit at 3.4% of GDP in first quarter, debt at 83.8%

Ljubljana, 30 June - Slovenia's general government deficit was down to EUR 313m or 3.4% of GDP in the first quarter of 2016 from EUR 365m or 4.1% in the same period last year, show preliminary data released by the Statistics Office on Thursday. General government debt stood at EUR 32.577bn or 83.8% of GDP.
