Slovenia to buy back another US$1bn in bonds

Ljubljana, 23 August - Slovenia plans to further decrease its debt in US dollars, having announced a US$1bn buyback tender for national bonds issued on the US market in 2012, 2013 and 2014. To optimise debt cost, it already bought back US$1.25bn-worth of bonds in May.
